My daughter recommended this salon to me, she is a regular there and takes her dog Bella. I recently moved to her area so I decided to take my cat Lola there. I usually do not take her to groomers because she is grumpy and known to scratch but they were able to handle her perfectly. I’m so happy with their service and the results. Highly recommend this saloon!

I have a 14-year-old dog and it's been difficult to find a grooming place who's willing to accept a dog this age. I called around, and so glad that I finally found Best Friends Grooming Salon! My dog absolutely dislikes nail trims, and the groomer trimmed all his nails so efficiently and professionally. My dog was well taken care of and clean after the wash. We'll be going back again!

If you're looking for a local dog salon in Washington then Best Friends Grooming Salon is the best. They are very professional and caring. Staff is great and always friendly. You can get appointments easily, they are extremely accommodating. Best grooming place, our 2 sweet dogs love it, their groomer is so good with them. It's in the details!! It was our first time at this salon, since we haven't lived in WA for all that long, but we've been to lots of grooming appointments with our dogs over the years. Best Friends really has their service down. They are efficient, but caring. Our dog, pictured here, is a 14.5 y.o. Portuguese Water Dog with a thick wavy coat that needs grooming every 6-8 weeks.

He's in very poor health (sore joints, deaf, and some neurological issues), but they handled him with patience and kindness. The groomer was observant and responsive to his pain or discomfort. They even scheduled him for early check-in and quick turnaround so that his stress level would be lower. On top of all that, his cut looks great!! It's even all over, which is amazing because I'm sure he layed down most of the time.

This is the second time I have taken my sweet angel to Best Friends Grooming Salon and I absolutely love them!! I was a bit worried both times, but she always turns out looking just like how I ask. When I brought my dog in she had some serious matting issues. She’s also very young and super squirmy. Kylie did such an amazing job! My dog’s haircut has never been even due to her wiggles until now. She took care of all my dog’s matted hair as well. I am so happy with the service I received!

First time taking our two pups here, we have a young mini-doodle with lots of energy and an older Cairn-Pom mix who is very paw fussy. The folks there were really kind, great with the pups, and Lisa (our groomer) did a wonderful job with their baths and stylings! The pricing is fantastic as well! We will definitely be coming back here for our future grooming needs!

Friendly, dedicated staff with skills to match! The guests who shop at my pet supply store have had a great experience here and recommended I pay them a visit.

They are easily located and have a hassle-free parking lot. The shop is very neat, clean and smells good. Their customers were happy and the staff handles their furry family members with care.

It’s hard to find a good pet groomer around town like these guys. I highly recommend them!

I booked an appointment for cat grooming here. I'm not used to pets being held at groomers for a long time since I assume that's the reason for having an appointment at a specific time in the first place, so not that happy about the 3 hours wait.

That being said the cat looks great, hair cut on point and his paws look fantastic

What a great place. This is the second time I have taken both my dogs and they do a wonderful job. I love supporting small businesses and their prices are very reasonable and they do a wonderful job of grooming for dogs. They always give a helpful suggestions and I can tell that my dog feel comfortable because they don't shake in are not afraid of going to the groomer and they always seem happy and excited when I come back.

Best friends grooming salon has been my go to salon for my fur baby for around 5 years now. The new owners are awesome, and very sweet and kind to my dog. When I pick her up, she always looks beautiful and is happy! With their covid policies in place- it's functioning a little different than it has on my previous visits, but I find the pickup and drop off procedures to run smoothly and be efficient. I recently moved to south seattle, which is around 25-30 mins from best friends. I tried taking my dog to a new groomer closer to us, but we had a negative experience with them, as she is nervous around people she does not know. I asked the owner of best friends how she does when she gets groomed by them, and she says she does great! My shy, older dog is happy being groomed at best friends. Their prices are affordable for me (a full time college student that works part-time), which enables me to be able to afford to keep my dog trimmed and happy. The owners have also been flexible with me on pickup times, due to my work/home being further away than it was before. Overall this place is wonderful, my dog does great there, and when I drop her off I can trust that she will be taken care of and look great when I pick her up. Thanks for all of the positive experiences Best Friends! I highly recommend taking your animals to this establishment.

Came across BFG when my goldendoodle puppy was desperate for a haircut. They were one of the only groomers that would take him on short notice!

They deal with my squirmy puppy and don't complain to me about it which is always relieving as an owner. They clean up milos fur as needed and send him home with a cute bandana.

I probably wouldn't go here if you have a show dog or expect a super specific haircut but 5 stars for a relatively affordable and flexible groomer in the Bellevue area.

Having recently moved to the area I'd been trying to find a good groomer for my Aussie doodle who just turned 2 years old. I had to resort to Petco for her last 2 grooms and the result wasn't good. I was recommended to try Best Friends and I am very happy and pleased with the result. My pup is not the easiest when it comes to grooming and she's petrified of the hairdryer! They took their time with her, cut her coat perfectly not shaved,

kept her puppy/teddy facial shape. I've found my go to groomers.

I'm not sure what's with the recent negative reviews- these guys were GREAT! I have an older golden and get nervous when he has to get groomed (he only goes a couple times a year). Yes- it takes a long time. No- they don't call you with updates on your dog, because they're super busy and call you when your dog is just about done. However, I could SMELL him once he walked out the door. He smelled amazing! His feet and fur were well groomed and he didn't seem in a hurry to get away from them at all. Also, their prices are beyond reasonable. $75 for a giant doggy to be washed & trimmed up with excellent care! See below for before and after photos.

I took my dog here on 6/19/20, well in the middle of the COVID-19 distancing measures. Two points jump out therefore- 1.) My dog looks GREAT and seemed very happy with his experience there today and 2.) check-in and check-out procedures were thoughtful and safe.

This is the first time my young dog has ever been to the groomer, and I was concerned that he would have a bad experience. When I picked him up he wanted to say goodbye to some of the people there before running out to see me- that says he was well taken care of and felt loved the whole time. His fur is cleaner and shiner and shorter where it should be, his nails are clipped and I've scheduled another appointment for next month.

When I checked in this morning they came to the sidewalk to pick him up and asked me to fill out a paper with my info. They called me this afternoon 10 minutes before he was finished. When I picked him up I handed my credit card through a slot, got a slip back the the slot to sign, and then my happy clean dog came through the door to greet me.

The owner stepped out to ask about my experience, and I told him it was so darn good that I'd have to compliment and recommend them here.

Convenient location to Bellevue, easy parking, good service, reasonably priced, and friendly dog-loving employees- I'm grateful for Best Friends Grooming Salon.

Came here today for the first time. I usually trim the nails of my boxer mix, Chloe, myself but I get nervous about taking too much so I decided to pay to have her bathed and trimmed. Also she had been itchy lately and needed her anal glands expressed. So, I figured it was time for a spa day!

I called this morning and was told they had a cancelation. On arrival I was greeted warmly. The woman who checked me in greeted Chloe and walked her to the back. I was surprised I didn't receive a quote before I left. I assumed I would pay $60 based on the information on the website. I opted for the oatmeal shampoo and toothbrushing services.

The grooming area is open for viewing. You could tell which pups were stressed out but all of the groomers were treating the pups with care. I've been to groomers in the past where it's clear the groomers are frustrated by the animals and are being too rough but this place definitely didn't have that vibe. The groomers were chatting with each other and all generally seemed kind.

I picked Chloe up at about 3p. The cost came out to $65 which is only $5 more than I expected.

Chloe seemed happy to see me and probably a little tired since baths stress her out. Her nails were trimmed nicely. She appears to have been taken care of. I love that she doesn't smell like perfume. She just smells fresh and clean.

My only wish is that they would have brushed her after her bath. Chloe sheds like crazy after her baths and this was no exception.

I'm looking forward to bringing her back next month!
